About This Work

Years ago I had a dream of birds falling from the sky in a large, open field. In a different, recurring dream, I saw a field with a small pond, somewhere upstate NY, and upon closer inspection it was filled with deep sea creatures. I combined both dreams in the same painting and used my references from a trip to the Falklands on the way to Antarctica, for some of the composition.
